Is WMR a NON-Profit?
No. While we do not charge for access to our website or streams, we do ask for donations and provide links to merchants that pay us a commision on your purchases. Unfortunately, running a quality online station is not very cheap and takes up alot of our time. So yes, we do try to make money to be able to pay for bandwidth, pay our licensing obligations to artists / songwriters, purchase new equipment / music cd's and (hopefully) pay the people involved in providing you this station some sort of salary. |
