No, registration is not required at WMR to listen to any of our streams or Podcast. Registration is only required if you would like to post on our forums or use any of our "Member only" services that may be provided in the future.
No, since some members prefer not to receive any email from us, we have setup the mailing list as a seperate unit. So if you wish to receive updates from us, you will need to signup for the newsletters.
Many ISP's have agressive email filters to stop the horde of spam out there (AOL for example), so sometimes the activation email is dropped into a spam folder or blocked folder that you will have to look for. Other simply drop the email entirely. If after 4 - 6 hours you have not yet received your activation email, send a message to wmr@wildmountainradio.com and we will activate it for you.
Absolutely not! We hate spam as much as you do. The only email you will get will be directly from this site. We will send out messages a few times each year with new site features or important information (scheduled downtime.. etc.). We have setup a newsletter system that will allow you to Opt in/Opt out of these messages.
