Day of Silence, June 26

Wild Mountain News

In opposition to the impending royalty rate increase, WMR will participate in the Day of Silence on Tuesday, June 26th. We will be joining thousands of broadcasters shutting down their streams to draw attention to our plight. Unless the "Internet Radio Equality Act" (IREA) (H.R. 2060 in the House and S. 1353 in the Senate) receives enough support to pass, small broadcasters like us will have to pay 17 months' worth of retroactive royalty increase payments are due to the SoundExchange collection organization under the terms of a recent Copyright Royalty Board (CRB) decision. This will effectively put many of us out of business.

Please call your Senators and ask for their support. http://www3.capwiz.com/saveinternetradio/issues/alert/?alertid=9738601

Yeah we're here, just slow the last few weeks... My "paying" job has
had me running nearly 24/7 and Quagmire is dealing with a loss in his family.

When I started the Pennsylvania Rock Show, it was only a 1 hour long show... it
slowly expanded to 3 hours.
